not coming to a theater near you is a great place to find out about the interesting films that aren't guaranteed rentals. Not the films that are in the top 10 now, but are in the top 10 of those who love cinema. It's great for finding out what is interesting and out on DVD. While nothing is as good as seeing a film in a theatre, having DVDs and a site like this make things a bit easier for a cinephile.

GreenCine Daily

GreenCine Daily is a great place to find out news about movies and it is updated daily. (Maybe that explains the "Daily" part of the title.) It's filled with lots of links and is a quick and easy way to stay on top of what is happening in the film world.

Slowing Starting

I'm slowly starting this out. One of the important things is know what your blog is about and how things fit into it.

This will probably be about things related to the Screen Arts program at the NSCC Halifax Campus where I teach people how to make films. Making films is really about changing the world as filmmakers share their stories and provide different perspectives on life and reality.

I may be migrating the Screen Arts related blog activity here as I want to make it simpler to run things and to get people to participate.

Right now I'm still in the experimental phase and eventually these posts may disappear as I get this geared up.
